Bobeš
A spaghetti with opinions. A proper sausage dog!
Bobeš (originally named Daník) is a seven-year-old wire-haired Dachshund. He's a spaghetti with opinions — long body, short legs, big personality.
He may be 7, but he's still a very active dog, used to living outdoors all year round. He prefers to mind his own business and pays little attention to the world around him. When he doesn't like something, or you cramp his style, he'll let you know (like a true dachshund). He grew up with an elderly owner in a garden, without much training. He's not really the contact-and-cuddles type. He loves walks and walks well on a lead. He's house-trained and calm in his kennel. He's prone to solo expeditions if you leave the door ajar.
We can picture him with, say, a retired huntsman who knows this type of dog and misses having a little 'wild boar' in the garden.
We can't in good conscience recommend him for children, nor for other animals or dogs (he isn't used to them — he grew up as an only dog).
