Earl

A stray from Vitice whose owner never came forward.

Earl was found on 5 June 2024 in the village of Vitice; sadly, his original owner never claimed him.

We can only estimate his age — he may be around 10. Earl is a Labrador cross (with a bull breed or a Weimaraner) weighing 31 kg. He's a cheerful companion who seeks out human contact and loves to cuddle. He can walk on a lead, knows the basic commands 'sit', 'down' and 'come', and would definitely enjoy learning more. Toys don't tempt him much, but he does love his treats. He's clean in his kennel, and when he needs to say something, he says it with a bark. His 'hobbies' also include the thorough remodelling of dog beds, duvets and blankets.

He gets on with people without any trouble and doesn't mind being handled — at the vet's he can relax so completely that he ends up happily rolling onto his back. In that respect he's pure gold. Earl has a hunting streak and isn't suitable for homes with other male dogs.
