Dog boarding
As of 1 August 2025, intake of dogs into our boarding hotel has been suspended for new customers due to enormous demand for this service.
Reservations are now possible only for existing clients who have used the service before, or use it regularly.
If you've used our boarding service before and made a reservation in our booking system, then your registered e-mail has been added to the clients who can make a reservation.
If you're not sure which e-mail you booked under, or your reservation still doesn't work, contact us at info@dog-point.cz.
If you haven't used our service yet but are interested in the future, we can add you to a waiting list. Unfortunately, due to capacity, that's all we can offer at the moment.
Have you broken your leg and can't fully look after your dog? Going on holiday overseas, but travel stresses your dog out? We'll be happy to take care of your four-legged friend while you're away or indisposed. At our shelter they may find not only plenty of canine friends, but also responsible handlers who will lovingly walk and care for them.
Is your dog afraid of fireworks? Is New Year's Eve stressful for them? At our shelter in the middle of the forest, New Year's celebrations are almost inaudible. We have several indoor spots where you can't hear anything at all.
Boarding with us is, for now, possible only by prior reservation (online booking below) due to capacity. We have room to look after five dogs; beyond that we can't take in any more.
Where are the dogs housed and what does a stay look like?
Dogs are boarded in outdoor kennels (2 × 2.5 m or 2.5 × 2.5 m) with thermo-insulating mats. There's always clean bedding in the kennel, and the dogs have a spacious, well-insulated kennel house.
Dogs are walked 3 times a day outside the grounds. The surroundings are beautiful forests, perfect for walks. The forest is full of scents and is a sensory experience dogs usually enjoy enormously. And there are pine cones. And sticks.
There's also a separate, spacious run that can be used for "free fun" or relaxation.
If the dog's nature calls for it, we train or do sports with them so they get enough physical exercise (we can do everything from basic training and running, through bull sports, to competitive dog training).
Conditions for boarding:
The dog must have valid vaccinations (rabies + ideally a combination of infectious diseases) and a valid vaccination record.
Signing a boarding contract and paying a deposit (the reservation becomes valid once the deposit is sent).
Which dogs can we board?
Small and large. Breed doesn't matter.
Dogs that don't get along with other dogs (that's no problem here).
Dogs with behavioral problems or gaps in training (we usually know how to handle it well).
Dogs not used to a kennel (we'll help them adapt quickly).
Incontinent dogs.
Dogs fed a BARF diet (we have many years of experience with this type of feeding and are set up for it).
Which dogs can't we board?
Sick or infectious dogs.
Dogs that need increased care due to their health (post-injury conditions, non-ambulatory dogs).
Dogs that are extremely aggressive toward people.
Booking options:
A reservation can be made at the earliest 3 months before the chosen date.
A reservation can be made at the latest 1 day before the chosen date.
The reservation becomes valid once a deposit of CZK 500 is paid within 3 days of booking the date. For last-minute bookings, you must send proof that the deposit has been sent.
The length of a reservation is at least 1 day and at most 31 days.
Cancellation:
If you cancel more than 5 days before the reserved date, the deposit is fully refundable.
If you cancel less than 5 days before (or if the owner doesn't show up), the deposit is non-refundable.
How to book?
At the bottom of this page, first choose "boarding". A calendar with dates will appear. Find the start date of your reservation and click on it.
If, on the right, you see:
a red field — that day is fully booked and a reservation isn't possible
a green field — click on it, then in the next pop-up click the row with the end date of the reservation and continue filling in the details.
If you click a green field and any of the following days (before the end date you need) is red, it means those days are booked and a reservation across the whole period isn't possible. The system will then tell you, after you click the end date, that "the reservation is not possible".
A reservation is always made as 1 dog = 1 kennel.
Drop-off and pick-up take place between 7:00 and 18:00 by prior phone arrangement.

Boarding price:
CZK 200 / day if the dog has its own food. (CZK 300/day from 1 November 2025!)
CZK 300 / day with our food (we feed a natural raw diet, so-called BARF). (CZK 400/day from 1 November 2025!)
The price is per day of stay (not per night); arrival is possible from 7:00 and evening pick-up no later than 19:00.
